The Pregnancy MOT is a specially designed women’s health assessment for those going through pregnancy, treating all your pregnancy needs including pelvic girdle pain or SPD, pelvic floor support, and lower back pain. The assessment is the perfect time to discuss pains, concerns or fitness with a health professional to help your preparation for birth and start of your post-natal recovery.
What's included? - Full assessment plus either treatment of your current conditions or a 30 mins one to one Pregnancy Pilates session

Pelvic girdle pain (the pubic joint at the front or the 2 sacral joints at the back) or SPD
Lower or mid back pain.
Carpal tunnel symptoms.
Swelling or other circulatory issues including varicose veins.

It has been estimated that approximately 50% of pregnant women will suffer from some kind of low back pain at some point during their pregnancies or during the postpartum period. Pregnancy related low back pain, seems to be a result of quite a few factors, such as mechanical, hormonal and other. One third of them will suffer from severe pain, which will reduce their quality of life. The majority of women are affected in their first pregnancy (Pregnancy-related low back pain, Katonis et al.).
